This is Will and he has a mighty beard... as you can see! 

I wanted him to enter my Beerdfest but he had to work a late shift and was a no show...

His loss, I reckon he coulda been a contender!!! haha 

He promises to come next year to try and take the title from Jim, 

which should make for a interesting challenge! 

I am a little bit in love with this beard... sorry Will ;) 

Cheeky Tash

I papped this cheeky tashed fella in Liverpool on North John Street just before Beerdfest 

and begged him to participate!! 

alas he was only doing 'Movember' and was shaving it off in a blaze of glory on Nov 30th 

- so pretty lucky to have snapped him! 

What a work of art! 

I take umbridge with Movember.. yes you read correctly - I used the word umbridge! haha 

(2013 is a year for fancy words #fact) 

What peeves me is all these guys grow great tashes... and then 'the rules' state they must shave them off on Nov 30th?? Why??? I cannot get behind that! 

Sure have an optional shaving off party or two but don't 'enforce' tash removal - they are a thing of effort and beauty gone in a second of an electric razor... it's just not right... 

just as a puppy is not just for Christmas I feel a great tash is not just for Movemeber... 

ah well, at least we can enjoy this one forever frozen in time, 

caught before the clean shave on Nov 28th haha...

Thanks so much to everyone who helped Beerdfest become not only a reality but a storming success with many request for Beerdfest 2013!!!

When I first decided it would be fun to have Liverpool's first Beard and Moustache Contest I had no idea over 100 people would join me! Incredible! and frickn MARVELLOUS!

After a month of trying to spread the word of Liverpool's first beard and moustache contest we are now just THREE SLEEPS away! omg!

On Tuesday 4th at Camp and Furnace (Greenland Street just off Jamaica Street) from 6pm come along to see who will be our first No1 beard tash sidies or fake! WIN BEER and RESPECT! haha ;)

Black Magic Moustache (&Beard)

This is Kyle. 

He is in a band called Black Magician. His facial adventures started 5 years ago. He wasn't actually sure but his lovely ladyfriend Jill had the stats to hand! 

Great work here, hope he can come to Beerdfest2012!!! 

Hope Street Sidies

This is Nick. 

He has his sideburns off and on and grew them special for his appearance at Hope St Feast back in September. The thing about a good set of sidies is some guys can REALLY pull them off and I think Nick is working them good... another hopeful for the Beerdfest2012 me thinketh ;)

This is Stephen. 

He is from London and was visiting Liverpool with his wife. 

He has had a full-on beard since 1976!!! You heard me, 1976 this mammoth facial creation has been with us, amazingness yes?
